Changing Degree Application

Please use this short form to change your degree ONLY if you meet the following conditions:
1. You are currently enrolled at Southeastern and are in good standing (no academic/disciplinary probation or suspension)
2. You are seeking to replace your current degree, not add another degree to your current one.
3. You are making a degree change that requires a new application. The following changes meet this requirement (all other changes should be directed to the Changing Curriculum Form).

Associates degree to/from any Bachelor’s degree
Bachelor of Arts to/from Bachelor of Science
Master of Arts (Vocational) to/from Master of Arts (Research)
Master of Arts (any) to/from Master of Divinity
Any application to/from the Advanced Master of Divinity
Any application to/from the Master of Theological Studies (MTS)
Any application to/from the Master of Education (MED)
Any application to/from a Certificate Degree (except another Certificate)
Any application from one doctoral program to a different doctoral program

Please be aware that using this application does not automatically grant you admission into a new program. Your file will be reviewed by the Admissions Office and you will be notified of any Admissions Committee decisions.

If your motivation for changing degrees involves a financial aid need for the current semester or future semesters, please reach out to the Financial Aid Office immediately (financialaid@sebts.edu). If you are not sure whether financial aid will be affected by this change, please contact the Financial Aid Office.

If you are currently enrolled in a Credit-Only program, you must fill out a full application to change to a degree program.
